The synchronized swimming that performed on the occasion of the 54th birth anniversary of Kim Jong Il in February, Juche 85 (1996) has strikingly manifested the development of the Korean synchronized swimming through more than 70 demonstration performances on significant holidays.

The demonstration performances reflective of the deep reverence for President Kim Il Sung, Kim Jong Il and anti-Japanese war hero Kim Jong Suk have been praised by the Korean people year after year.

They are associated with the big efforts made by coaches and performers who successfully portrayed the feelings of all the people to hold the peerlessly great persons of Mt. Paektu forever in high esteem with elegant rhythms, beautiful formations and high skills.

Coaches have made untiring pursuit and displayed enthusiasm to put rhythms on perfect formative art after setting a goal of steadily innovating Korean-style synchronized swimming techniques.

A great number of scientific training methods have been studied and introduced to raise the players' techniques and physical abilities.

As a result, the number of change of formations has increased more from the previous 20 with the introduction of artistic skills and depiction, making it possible to highly praise the great persons.
