Displayed at the venue of the event were photos showing the revolutionary career and exploits of Kim Jong Il and the revolutionary activities of Marshal Kim Jong Un.

Exhibited there were photos showing the struggle of the army and people all out in the general offensive to hasten final victory in the revolutionary spirit of Mt. Paektu.

Participants watched the Korean film documenting the invincible might of Songun Korea.

Chairman of the Nigerian National Committee for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism Alhassan Mamman Muhammad who is also secretary general of the preparatory committee said in his speech:

Kim Jong Il's life was a noble life of total dedication to the bright future of the country and the people.

He provided ceaseless field guidance for the prosperity of the country and the happiness of the people.

The course of the field guidance covered by him all his life is equivalent to going round the earth nearly 17 times and he visited more than 14,290 units.

The noble image of Kim Jong Il will shine forever in the hearts of not only the Korean people but also the progressives as he devoted his all to the motherland and the people.

A message to Kim Jong Un was adopted at the meeting.
