Rodong Sinmun Accuses Park Geun Hye of Taking Issue with DPRK's Social System

Pyongyang, February 19 (KCNA) -- The south Korean puppet chief executive suddenly convened a meeting of chairmen of the "Committee for Preparations for Unification" at Chongwadae on Feb. 16 at which she again raised the sinister "doctrine of gaining a great opportunity of unification." She worked hard to shift the blame for the failure of opening the inter-Korean dialogue onto the DPRK, claiming the north is setting forth a "series of preconditions" and the like and there is "no response." She hurt even the lines and policies pursued by the DPRK and dignified social system chosen by it while talking about the "wave of change" and "reform and opening" based on such miser-like logic as "security is provided by thick purse, not by nukes."

Rodong Sinmun Thursday observes in a commentary in this regard:

This is an unpardonable politically-motivated provocation against the sincere efforts of the DPRK for improving the inter-Korean relations and desire of all the Koreans.

The puppet authorities' charge against the just stand of the DPRK for dialogue and its inviolable social system clearly proves their inveterate hostility toward the DPRK and an attempt to escalate confrontation with it, the commentary says, and goes on:

The puppet authorities' invectives are aimed to curry favor with the U.S. and realize at any cost their dream of escalating confrontation between social systems through tightened nexus with their American master.

Park's imprudent lip-service is a snag lying in the way of improving the inter-Korean relations and the root cause of misfortune.

She had better hold her tongue, clearly understanding the catastrophic consequences to be entailed by her reckless remarks inciting confrontation between the north and the south.
