On display at the venues of the lectures were photos showing the exploits of Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un.

Also displayed there were works of the peerlessly great men of Mt. Paektu and books and photos introducing Songun Korea.

Batric Mijovic, general secretary of the New Yugoslav Communist Party of Serbia who is chairman of the Serbian Preparatory Committee for Celebrating the Day of the Shining Star, said:

Comrade Kim Jong Il was a great statesman, outstanding thinker and theoretician, peerlessly brilliant commander of Songun and tender-hearted father of the people who made great contributions to the noble cause for achieving the independence of the popular masses.

He was also a prominent leader of the world socialist movement, close friend and teacher of progressives and comrade-in-arms of the members of the New Yugoslav Communist Party of Serbia.

It is the brilliant fruition of his wise guidance that the Workers' Party of Korea is advancing along the road of victory despite all turns and twists.

Jose Miguel Mejia, secretary general of the United Left Movement of Dominica, said that Kim Jong Un, who is embodying and carrying forward the idea and cause of the great preceding leaders, leads to victory the Korean people, pioneers of the anti-imperialist struggle, with his brilliant wisdom, steadfast faith and wise guidance.

Juha Kieksy, chairman of the Finnish National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea, said Kim Jong Il authored many works including "Socialism Is a Science" late in the last century, dealing heavy blows at the imperialists and renegades of socialism and instilling faith in victory into the progressive people and firmly protecting the sovereignty and dignity of the DPRK under the banner of Songun.

He evinced the will to further intensify the study and dissemination of the Juche idea, Songun idea and the movement for solidarity with the just cause of the Korean people.

A congratulatory message to Kim Jong Un was adopted at the lecture given in Finland.
