The Feb. 11th issue of Al Nour carried an article titled "73rd birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il" with his photo.

The article said:

Kim Jong Il gave more importance to the morrow than to the present.

In the whole course of his leadership over the country and people he always gave precedence to the future of the country with a far-sighted wisdom in working out any line and policy and handling any affairs.

He planned all works in a big way and pushed ahead with them at the highest speed to bring earlier the future.

He didn't know standstill, impossibility and moderation.

Tishrin on Feb. 13 and Al Thawrah on Feb. 16 carried his photo and articles praising the exploits performed by him. The articles were titled "DPRK celebrates birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il, challenging world imperialism and building national industry" and "DPRK celebrates birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il, man of total dedication to future of prospering DPRK".

Al Baath on Feb. 14 carried an article titled "DPRK Brings Rosy Future" and a photo showing the panoramic view of Pyongyang.

The Central TV on Feb. 16 reported his undying exploits for the times and history with a portrait depicting his smiling image and photos showing his revolutionary activities.

The Central Radio Broadcasting Service aired the same report on the same day.
