They included a reading session on his works "Let Us Carry Out the Great Leader Comrade Kim Il Sung's Instructions for National Reunification" and "Socialism Is a Science" in Italy and round-table talks and film shows in Iran and Nigeria from Feb. 7 to 16.

Participants of the film shows watched "Fireworks of a Thriving Nation", "The Tower of the Juche Idea" and other Korean films.

The chief of the Milano Center for the Study of the Juche Idea of Italy addressed the reading session where he cited the reality in the DPRK demonstrating its invincible might to explain the validity and vitality of the Juche idea, the Songun idea.

Personages of different circles in Lagos State of Nigeria watched the films and praised Kim Jong Il for glorifying the Juche idea, the Songun idea as the guiding idea in the era of independence, building the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) into the ever-victorious party, turning the DPRK into a political, ideological and military power and consolidating the Korean People's Army into invincible combat ranks.

The Korean people are holding in high esteem Kim Jong Il as the eternal general secretary of the WPK and eternal chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK as he laid a solid foundation for the accomplishment of the socialist cause despite any storms of history, they said.
