The participants heard papers proving the validity and vitality of the ideas and theories on the women's movement and the building of the women's union contained in the work published by Kim Jong Il on Feb. 24, Juche 99 (2010).

Speakers said that his work serves as an immortal great programme to be invariably held fast to in the whole course of strengthening the Juche-based Korean women's movement.

He set it as the general orientation of the women's movement and the women's union to preserve the proud tradition of the Juche-based Korean women's movement which had grown strong under the guidance of the party and the leader and add brilliance to the tradition at a new higher level as required by the building of a thriving nation, they noted.

His idea of always regarding the ideological education as the basic task is the most just idea he propounded on the basis of a scientific analysis of the mission and character of the union, intrinsic requirements of socialist society and the urgent need to build a thriving nation, they said.

They underlined the need to give full play to the stamina of the Korean women in the on-going general offensive to firmly preserve the undying ideological and theoretical feats he performed in the history of the Juche-based Korean women's movement and glorify the great Kim Jong Un's era.
