The Anti-Imperialist Forum of Germany posted a portrait depicting his smiling image with an article titled "Kim Jong Il, son of guerillas" on Feb. 16.

The article said that Kim Jong Il, who was born as the son of the guerillas on Mt. Paektu on Feb. 16, 1942, grew up, hearing the gun reports of the anti-Japanese war. He was possessed of strong will, courage and pluck as befitting a brilliant commander, it noted, and went on:

His was a brilliant life of the great revolutionary who performed undying exploits for the Korean revolution and the cause of human independence while conducting energetic revolutionary activities as the guerillas did.

He, who devoted his all to the country and people, is remembered as the eternal image of the great Paektusan nation and son of the guerillas by the Korean people.

On Feb. 13 the Forum posted an article titled "To V. I. Lenin, Kim Jong Il" which said he laid a wreath before the Lenin Mausoleum and paid silent tribute during his visit to Russia, arousing big public sensation of the world media.

A district committee of Vitebsk City of the Communist Party of Belarus posted articles praising his undying exploits and noble traits under the titles of "Admiration of world politicians for Comrade Kim Jong Il", "Great patriot" and "Life devoted to future" on Feb. 16.
