Kim Jong Il's Exploits Praised by Foreign Personages

Pyongyang, February 25 (KCNA) -- Receptions, book and photo exhibitions and film shows took place at DPRK embassies in different countries and the DPRK permanent mission in the UN Office and international bodies in Geneva on Feb. 12 and 13 on the occasion of the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il. Displayed at the venues of the events were photos documenting the immortal exploits of President Kim Il Sung, Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un. Also on display there were works of the peerlessly great men of Mt. Paektu and books and photos introducing Songun Korea. Films shown included Korean film "Pyongyang Built on Debris of War." The vice-chairman of the Commission for External Affairs of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam said that General Secretary Kim Jong Il further developed the traditional relations of friendship and cooperation between the two parties and the two countries provided by President Ho Chi Minh and President Kim Il Sung. The secretary general of the Malaysia-DPRK Friendship Association noted that Kim Jong Il pursued the original Songun politics to turn the DPRK into a military power no formidable enemy dares to provoke. The chairman of the Youth Movement of Pakistan praised Kim Jong Il as the great leader not only of the Korean people but also of the progressives and peerlessly brilliant commander who foiled the U.S. vicious moves to stifle the DPRK and turned it into an invincible power. The chairman of the Supreme Council of the Socialist Party of Romania and other speakers stressed that Kim Jong Il's unique party-building exploits serve as a valuable treasure to be cherished by all progressive parties. The general secretary of the Guinea People's Assembly said Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il rendered disinterested support to the Guinean people in their struggle for creating a new life. The secretary general of the Inter-Parliamentary Union noted that the DPRK has remained strong thanks to the outstanding and tested leadership of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il. |
