It was attended by Choe Ryong Hae, secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, and officials, coaches, teachers and researchers in the fields of sports and social science.

The floor was taken by Kim Yong Hun, minister of Physical Culture and Sports, Jon Ha Chol, director of an institute of the Academy of Social Sciences, Mun Jae Dok, president of the Academy of Sports Science, and Yun Song Bom, chairman of the Sports Technique Federation.

The speakers said that the Workers' Party of Korea set forth the idea of conducting sports matches in a guerrilla-style and by offensive method.

This idea develops in depth the Juche-based principles and methods of matches from a new angle and serves as an engine helping attain the high goal of a sports power, they noted.

They underlined the need to further round off diverse tactics and methods, develop sports science and technique and positively apply new research achievements to practice.

They called upon all players to win Asian and world titles and fully demonstrate the dignity and might of Songun Korea.
