Pavel Bilevski, secretary general of the Russian Association for the Study of the Juche Idea, praised Kim Jong Il for performing undying exploits for the development of bilateral friendship through his several visits to Russia.

Elena Bavichi, chairwoman of the Kim Jong Suk Women's Union of Russia, said the secret of victorious advance of socialism in the DPRK lies in that the Korean people are led by the genuine popular leaders through generations, and the leader, the party and the popular masses have achieved the single-minded unity.

The chief of the Sankt-Peterburg branch of the Russian Association for the Study of the Juche Idea praised Kim Jong Il for turning the Korean People's Army into the matchless combat ranks and the DPRK into a military power with nuclear weapons under the unfurled banner of Songun.

Pavel Chemodanov, chairman of the Russian Kirov Association for the Study of the Juche Idea, noted Kim Jong Il brightened the way for the times and humankind with his energetic ideological and theoretical activities.

Referring to Kim Jong Il's great attention to the ideological work, Aleksandr Rusin, chairman of the Crimean Association for the Study of the Juche Idea of Russia, noted that it enabled the DPRK to further consolidate unity and cohesion of the whole society and tide over the worst ordeals and difficulties.
