Victim of Liberation Strategic Party Case Declared Not Guilty in S. Korea
Pyongyang, February 27 (KCNA) -- The Seoul High Court of south Korea on Feb. 24 gave a victim of the Liberation Strategic Party case a verdict of not guilty.

The case was cooked up by the Park Chung-Hee fascist dictatorial forces by throwing suspicion of attempted preliminary rebellion on intellectual Kwon Jae Hyok and 11 others in the late 1960s.

In those days the puppet Central Intelligence Agency illegally detained and wrested false concessions through hair-raising tortures.

And it faked up the case and perpetrated fascist acts of sentencing those concerned to death, life imprisonment and heavy penalties.

The south Korean Committee for Settling the Past History for Truth and Reconciliation in 2009 disclosed that the case was plotted by the CIA. Yielding to the increasing voices of the families of the victims that the truth about the case must be probed, the judicial authorities held a re-trial of the case.

As a result, Kwon Jae Hyok, who met death penalty, was declared not guilty in May last year and then another victim was also given a verdict of not guilty this time.

This brings to light the fact that the Park Chung-Hee military fascist junta cooked up the case to stay in power.
