Koreans in U.S. Accuse S. Korean Forces of Forcibly Shutting down Progressive Paper

Pyongyang, March 1 (KCNA) -- A spokesman for the Federation of Koreans in the U.S. on Feb. 24 made public a statement denouncing the south Korean puppet group for forcibly banning Jaju Minbo, a progressive paper.

Such violence proves once again the south Korean society is a lawless land, the statement said.

Terming it an act of treachery dampening the desire of Koreans for peaceful reunification, the statement added:

Jaju Minbo has conducted its activities in the spirit of the July 4 joint statement, the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration for reunification, the desire of the nation, since its foundation.

The statement warned that those involved in such moves will be made to pay a dear price for their crimes before the nation for all ages.
