Shutdown of Jaju Minbo Protested in S. Korea

Pyongyang, March 1 (KCNA) -- The All-people measure committee for checking the shutdown of Jaju Minbo that consists of members of the south Korean public organizations and overseas compatriots held a press interview outside the puppet Supreme Court on Feb. 25 and made public a statement condemning the authorities' suppression of the progressive paper.

The statement said it was an intentional and politically-motivated provocation that the authorities got more undisguised in suppressing the progressive force and reunification activists and made a decision on the shutdown.

The Park Geun Hye regime and the "Saenuri Party" are the dictatorial forces that have to be done away with as they intentionally and forcibly shut down Jaju Minbo working for peace and national reunification, increasing the danger of war in collusion with foreign forces, the statement denounced.

No suppression and hardship can cover up justice and truth, the statement noted.
