U.S. Fears DPRK: Bulgarian Figure
|
|
Pyongyang, March 4 (KCNA) -- Atanas Ivanov, honorary chairman of the Bulgarian Communists Union, contributed an article titled "Human rights" to the February 15-28 issue of the newspaper Novo Rabotnichesko Delo. The U.S. is desperately launching human rights racket against the DPRK, the article said, and went on: At the end of the Second World War the U.S. dropped A-bombs in Japan, the first of its kind in human history, leaving hundreds of thousands of people dead, and recently killed a lot of innocent civilians in Iraq and Afghanistan. However, the U.S. has not been called to task for its crimes against humanity. Then, what's the crime against humanity the DPRK has to be punished for? There is no unemployed and homeless in the DPRK. Compulsory free education system, free medical care and other good social policies are being enforced in the DPRK. Then, why does the West brand the DPRK as a "criminal"? It is because the DPRK is not giving up socialism. The U.S. is making desperate efforts to stifle Korean-style socialism. But, the Korean people have never been yielded to any pressure. The U.S. threatened to mount a nuclear attack on the DPRK. So, the DPRK had access to strong nuclear deterrence to cope with the U.S. threats. The U.S. and its allied forces raised the "human rights issue" to threaten the DPRK. However, the DPRK is unfazed and the U.S. fears the DPRK. |
