S. Korean Youth and Students Called to Turn Out to Implement Joint Declarations and Defend Peace against War

Pyongyang, March 4 (KCNA) -- The Youth and Students Headquarters of the South Side Committee for Implementing June 15 Joint Declaration issued an appeal on Feb. 26 calling for turning out in the efforts to implement the north-south joint declarations and defend peace against war.

The youth and students in the south and the north and abroad should conduct more brisk activities to preserve and implement the south-north joint declarations in the spirit of the June 15 joint declaration, the appeal said.

It noted that the youth and students in the south and the north and abroad should wage a more brisk movement to oppose all war maneuvers and arms buildup threatening the existence of the nation, remove the root cause of war and defend peace.

It underscored the need to resolutely denounce the moves of the Japanese militarist forces for reinvasion, adding that they will not pardon any element threatening peace.

The appeal called for surely realizing the meeting of youth and students in the south and the north and abroad this year.
