Rodong Sinmun Wednesday in an editorial says that this reflects his noble hope that Pyongyang City should be a standard-bearer in implementing the behests of the leaders and defending the party policies and become an engine steering the general offensive for hastening the final victory.

The flames of the drive for creating Pyongyang spirit and Pyongyang speed are raging at a time when all service personnel and people are dashing ahead toward a bright future with a firm confidence in victory.

Pyongyang spirit means stamina of Korea and the tempo of Pyongyang development means the dynamic step of the country.

Eye-opening changes made in the capital city over the past three years represent the steadfast faith and strong pluck of Kim Jong Un who works hard to put our country on the high eminence of the world and unshakable will of all service personnel and people to keep pace with his footsteps.

Pyongyang spirit should be based on the absolute loyalty to him and the resolution to devotedly implement the party policies. Pyongyang speed should be the one of supersonic plane, not the one of ship. This is the intention of the Workers' Party of Korea.

The whole country should keep pace with the struggle for creating Pyongyang spirit and Pyongyang speed to give further momentum to the onward movement.
