Senior Officials in Charge of Administrative Affairs Tour Mupho Bivouac and Taehongdan Area

Taehongdan, March 4 (KCNA) -- Senior officials in charge of administrative affairs from across the country toured the Mupho Bivouac and the Taehongdan area on Wednesday. President Kim Il Sung camped in the Mupho Bivouac in May, Juche 28 (1939) when he led the advance of the main force of the Korean People's Revolutionary Army (KPRA) into the homeland. He convened a meeting of commanding officers of the KPRA there and set forth tasks for ensuring its advance toward the Taehongdan area. There are the site of the headquarters, the site where anti-Japanese war hero Kim Jong Suk cooked rice and one of campfire. There is also the Mupho angling site where leader Kim Jong Il mapped out his great plan to accomplish the cause of modeling the whole society on Kimilsungism. Upon arriving at the Sinsadong Revolutionary Battle Site after touring the Mupho Bivouac, the members of the study tour group were briefed on the mosaic depicting Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Suk and went round various places of the battle site. Then, they arrived at the Taehongdan Revolutionary Battle Site. They placed bouquets before the statue of Kim Il Sung at the Monument to the Victorious Battle in Musan Area. That day they camped near the Mubong Workers' District, holding meetings for hearing impressions of the reminiscences of anti-Japanese guerillas and their tour. During the tour they handed goods necessary for managing the revolutionary sites and revolutionary battle sites and conducted various political activities among masses. |
