At the meeting speakers said that the U.S. and south Korean authorities' Key Resolve and Foal Eagle joint military drills are aimed to invade the north in light of their scale and contents.

It is as clear as noonday that if a nuclear war is unleashed on the Korean peninsula, the entire nation would suffer, they said, calling for immediately stopping the joint military drills for the sake of the nation's life and peace.

They accused the present regime of forcibly banning Jaju Minbo, an internet paper, for the mere reason that it called for reconciliation and cooperation between the south and the north, peace and reunification.
