Present at the festival were teachers, researchers and postgraduate students of the university. The festival involved a public presentation and exhibition of scientific and technological achievements, contest of unit-level exhibition and new technology sharing.

The university has achieved valuable successes conducive to developing latest science and technology of the country, closely combining science and technology with production and thus putting the national economy on a new higher Juche, modern and scientific basis and improving the people's living standard.

More than 290 achievements were presented at nine panel discussions and scientific and technological achievements displayed and there was a brisk exchange of a lot of intellectual products during the festival.
