Animal Diseases Serious in S. Korea

| Pyongyang, March 7 (KCNA) -- Foot-and-mouth disease and bird flu are rapidly spreading in south Korea, causing big losses, according to the south Korean KBS and CBS. The foot-and-mouth disease occurred in 40 places in Kyonggi Province. Poultry on more than 140 stock farms were massively culled and buried due to bird flu rapidly spreading in south Korea. |
