On this occasion, they recollect the loving care shown by supreme leader Kim Jong Un for them.

Kim Kum Ok, a marathoner of the April 25 Sports Team, told KCNA:

"My pride of being a woman grows higher with each passing day.

The respected Marshal Kim Jong Un made me well-known to the country in praise of my successes in international games. Indeed, he is the tender-hearted father of us, women, as he has taken warm care of our destiny and future."

Such feelings are running high among other women from all walks of life in the DPRK.

In fact, Kim Jong Un has done all what he could do for the women in the country.

On March 8, 2012, he made sure that a celebration performance was given to encourage the DPRK women overcome with deep grief at the demise of leader Kim Jong Il.

He also saw to it that Mother's Day was instituted and a grand meeting of mothers was held. And under his deep care such hospitals for the women were built as the Breast Tumour Institute of the Pyongyang Maternity Hospital.

Encouraged by such warm love, the DPRK women have turned out in the vigorous drive for building a thriving nation, despite hardships.

They say it is the greatest fortune and happiness of the DPRK to uphold Kim Jong Un in high esteem as its supreme leader.
