The statement said that the U.S. imperialists and the south Korean military warmongers kicked up the Key Resolve and Foal Eagle joint military exercises despite the strong protest and denunciation by the entire Korean nation and the world peace-loving people.

They are describing the exercises as "annual" and "defensive" ones but this is nothing but a smokescreen to cover up their aggressive nature, it noted, and went on:

The situation clearly shows that the U.S. and the south Korean puppets are the arch criminals escalating the tension and disturbing peace on the Korean peninsula and in Northeast Asia.

If the warmongers ignite the war against the north, the powerful revolutionary Paektusan army will wipe out the aggressors.

The statement urged the U.S. and the south Korean warmongers to stop the dangerous drills for a nuclear war against the north at once, though belatedly.
