Teachers, researchers and postgraduate students presented to the festival more than 170 successes made in putting the national economy on a Juche-oriented, modern and scientific basis by developing the nation's ultra-modern science and technology through energetic researches and combining science and technology with production.

It is divided into eight panels including heavy industry, energy and mining and metal industries. It will involve public presentation and exhibition.

Hong So Hon, president of the university, addressed the ceremony.
