The institute has recently made big progress in manufacturing various kinds of Koryo (traditional) medicines on an extractive basis and developed a new medicine efficacious for recovering from fatigue.

Meanwhile, it is pushing ahead with the work to manufacture adjuvant from by-products of insam (ginseng).
