Nigerian and German Organizations Call for Halting Joint Military Drills
Pyongyang, March 11 (KCNA) -- Nigerian and German organizations issued statements in denunciation of the U.S. and the south Korean puppet forces' joint military drills.

The Nigeria-Korea Friendship Association in a statement on Mar. 4 said that the DPRK has made sincere efforts to remove the danger of war, defuse the tension and provide a peaceful environment on the Korean peninsula.

This being a hard reality, the U.S. kicked off Key Resolve and Foal Eagle joint military drills, a war rehearsal for aggression, against the DPRK together with the south Korean puppet forces despite strong protest and denunciation at home and abroad, it noted, adding:

We call for an immediate halt to the joint military drills that push the situation on the peninsula to a dangerous war phase.

The German Branch of the Korean Friendship Association on Mar. 5 said that the U.S. and south Korea imposed sanctions upon the DPRK and kicked off vicious human rights smear campaign and, meanwhile, staged again the joint military drills aimed at a preemptive attack. This means they opted for confrontation, not dialogue.

The U.S. purpose is the "collapse" of the socialist system in the DPRK, it noted, adding:

The DPRK wants peace, but it is compelled to take a relevant measure to cope with the enemies' moves.

All forms of provocations against the DPRK must be halted.
