Military Confrontation Is Left as Only Option in Inter-Korean Relations: Rodong Sinmun

Pyongyang, March 11 (KCNA) -- There is no need to deal with the south Korean warmongers who challenge the DPRK's sincere efforts for dialogue and improved relations. This is the final conclusion drawn by it. Rodong Sinmun on Wednesday says this in an article in this regard. It goes on: The south Korean puppet group kicked off Key Resolve and Foal Eagle military drills in league with the U.S. despite the unanimous protest and denunciation by the Korean nation. The on-going saber-rattling is an unpardonable insult and blatant challenge to the DPRK's positive efforts for the north-south dialogue and improved relations. The puppet forces are claiming that there will be detente in the inter-Korean relations once the joint military drills are over. This is nothing but a cunning trick to escape from the public criticism at home and abroad for driving the inter-Korean relations into the worst phase. Owing to this, the inter-Korean relations have undergone ordeals for several decades and this vicious cycle of deterioration of the inter-Korean relations should not be allowed to repeat itself any longer. It is quite obvious that the DPRK can hardly have any hope or expectation for dialogue and improved relations now that the south Korean puppet warmongers kicked off the provocative military drills for invading the DPRK in league with the U.S. This is also the belief the DPRK came to have after watching the south Korean authorities with a lot of generosity towards them for the past two years. What is left in the inter-Korean relations is only the final settlement, military confrontation. The south Korean puppet group will have to bitterly experience the miserable consequences to be entailed by its joint military drills it kicked off to challenge the DPRK's sincere efforts for inter-Korean dialogue and improved relations.
