DPRK Pays Efforts to Int'l Exchange through Trade Fair

| Pyongyang, March 11 (KCNA) -- The Korean International Exhibition Corporation concentrates efforts on strengthened international exchange through trade fair, pursuant to the DPRK state policy on fostering the external economic relations in a multilateral way. The Corporation has hosted international trade fairs in the capital city of Pyongyang in spring and autumn every year. The spring trade fair for this year will take place on May 11-14 and the autumn trade fair on September 21-24, according to Ho Pyong Chol, a department head of the Corporation. Noting that the world public interest in those trade fairs has grown deeper in recent years, he told KCNA: The participants in the Pyongyang spring and autumn international trade fairs increase in number every year. So, we are now pushing ahead with a work to expand the venue for them. This year will also see various trade fairs co-sponsored in Pyongyang by the DPRK and other countries, including a German trade fair on November 2-5.
