The reckless joint military drills are a threat to peace on the Korean peninsula and in the rest of the world and a grave infringement upon the sovereignty of the DPRK, the statement said, and went on:

The war frenzy of the U.S. and south Korea aims at stifling the DPRK militarily.

We strongly oppose UK's participation in the military drills.

UK should neither join in the U.S. military adventure nor get embroiled in the second Korean war.

It is the time for UK to develop the relations of friendship with the DPRK.

We strongly demand the U.S. and the south Korean authorities stop at once the provocative war exercises for aggression and UK cancel the participation in the drills.
