The mountain is thickly covered with Cryptomeria, fir, apricot, peach, rambler and other trees and plants as well as grotesque rocks.

Standing in the area are a monument to President Kim Il Sung's on-site guidance and the Kaesong City Revolutionary Museum.

At the foot of the mountain there are Janamsan Hotel, zoo, stadium and historical relics such as Sungyang Confucian Shrine, Phyochung Monuments and Sonjuk Bridge.
