The committee received with bitter indignation the news that the Obama administration started DPRK-targeted Key Resolve and Foal Eagle joint military exercises together with the south Korean authorities, the letter said, and went on:

The U.S. reacted to the DPRK's call for defusing tense situation on the Korean peninsula with drills for a war of aggression.

Military exercises in south Korea would push the situation in the region to the biggest danger of war.

We demand the U.S. government stop the war drills at once.

The committee also sent a protest letter calling for immediately stopping the joint military exercises and coming out for inter-Korean dialogue to the south Korean puppet embassy in Vienna on the same day.
