The statement said:

The National Democratic Congress of Ghana resolutely denounces the joint military drills as extreme aggression moves disturbing peace and security of the Korean peninsula and the rest of the world.

The U.S. and the south Korean authorities started the joint military drills again on the Korean peninsula that has constantly been exposed to the danger of war. This is a serious threat to the Korean people desirous of peaceful development and prosperity and inhuman crime that plunges the world into a new nuclear disaster.

The U.S. and the south Korean authorities should clearly face up to the trend of the times and stop at once the dangerous war exercises.

We extend full support to the struggle of the Korean people to defuse the danger of war and protect peace.
