It said that there is evidence that during the Lee Myung Bak regime the IS abused power to obstruct and watch activities of civic and public organizations.

It exposed that in 2008 the IS investigated university professors opposed to the project for improving four large rivers pushed forward by the regime and put pressure on those enterprises which supported civic and public organizations.

It is necessary to make a thoroughgoing probe into the truth about the IS's abuse of power during the Lee Myung Bak regime, it said, calling for setting up an independent investigation body.
