Pyongyang, March 17 (KCNA) -- Takashi Nada, representative of the Ehime Institute for Contemporary Korean Issue in Japan, posted an article slamming the U.S.-south Korea joint military drills for invading the DPRK on its website on Feb. 23. The article said: Key Resolve and Foal Eagle joint military drills now being staged by the U.S. and south Korean authorities are aimed at invading the DPRK. It is act of treachery for the south Korean authorities to persistently stage together with outsiders the war drills targeting the compatriots in the north. Those military rehearsals are a product of the U.S. policy to stifle the DPRK. The U.S. remains unchanged its scenario for stifling the DPRK. The south Korean authorities and puppet army are no more than bullet shields for the U.S. Nobody can vouch that the saber-rattling which will last till April 24 will not develop into an actual war any time. He urged the south Korean chief executive to stop toeing outsiders' policies but respond to the fair and aboveboard proposals advanced by the DPRK for peace and reunification on the Korean peninsula. |
