U.S., S. Korean Authorities' Moves to Deploy THAAD in S. Korea under Fire

Pyongyang, March 17 (KCNA) -- The south Korean internet paper Voice of People on Monday posted an editorial slamming the U.S. and south Korean authorities for their moves to deploy THAAD in south Korea.

The U.S. forces officially stated they surveyed in advance the place where THAAD is to be set up, the editorial said, and went on:

A deputy secretary of the U.S. Defense admitted this in September last year.

What is deplorable is that the U.S. surveyed the site for THAAD without any prior consent of the south Korean regime.

The editorial protested the deployment of THAAD being pressed for under the pretext of "missile threats from the north".
