More than fifty thousand hectares of farmland were covered with fertile soil and hundreds of thousands tons of organic fertilizer have been produced throughout the country.

South Hwanghae and South Phyongan provinces are taking the lead in spreading fertile soil on the farmland.

It has been also encouraged to produce substitute phosphor and potassic fertilizer in rural areas.
