Pyongyang, March 19 (KCNA) -- The Nigerian National Committee for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism posted an article titled "Aim High" on its website on Mar. 11 on the occasion of the 98th anniversary of the Korean National Association (KNA). The article said: "Aim High" means one should have far-reaching intention. This represents the profound idea that one should achieve independence of the country at any cost through the struggle generation after generation and build a new society where the people have become its master. Kim Hyong Jik, an outstanding leader of the Korean anti-Japanese national liberation movement, advanced this idea. He performed distinguished feats in the anti-Japanese national liberation movement. On the basis of detailed preparations, he formed the KNA, the largest anti-Japanese underground revolutionary organization most transparent in independent stand against imperialism at that time, on March 23, 1917. The KNA was a secret association aimed to achieve the independence of the country and build a highly civilized state by the concerted efforts of the entire Korean nation. The article introduced in detail the fact that he played a pivotal role in changing the course of the anti-Japanese national liberation movement from the nationalist movement to the proletarian revolution. |
