The statement said:

It was reported that the drills involve not only three services of the U.S. and south Korean puppet forces but also troops of Britain, France, Australia and Canada.

The dangerous war moves by the U.S. are creating a touch-and-go situation to the Korean peninsula.

The U.S. and south Korea are describing the drills as "defensive" and "annual" ones but this is no more than a camouflage to cover up their scheme to mount a preemptive nuclear attack on the DPRK.

U.S. President Obama openly declared that the U.S. policy is aimed to deny the ideology of the DPRK and "collapse" its socialist system.

Herein lies the aggressive and reactionary intention of the war exercises.

We resolutely oppose the U.S.-south Korea joint military drills, with the stand to learn from the Juche idea and turn Japan into an independent and peaceful country.

The Japanese government, being involved in the U.S. war moves, should make a switchover in its hostile policy toward the DPRK at an early date, establish friendly relations with it and make efforts for peace in Asia.
