A member of the Leadership of the Communist Party of Italian-Speaking Region in Switzerland was elected chief of the group.

At the ceremony the chief called for intensifying the study and dissemination of the Juche idea, expanding the ranks of the group and more dynamically conducting activities to support the Korean people's just cause.
