Pyongyang, March 23 (KCNA) -- Rodong Sinmun Monday dedicates an article to the 15th anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il's work "On Intensifying Education in Revolutionary Traditions through Revolutionary Battle Sites and Revolutionary Sites". The work, published in March Juche 89 (2000), clarifies the issues arising in intensifying the education in the revolutionary traditions as required by the developing revolution and other principled issues to be held fast to as basic tasks for preserving revolutionary battle sites and managing and operating them. His work serves as an immortal great programme which marks a historic milestone in developing in depth the education in the revolutionary traditions on a new higher stage, the article notes, adding: He visited the revolutionary battle sites in the area of Mt. Paektu several times, indicating the orientation and ways for sprucing up them as great centers for the education in the revolutionary traditions in terms of scale, form and contents so that party members and other working people might know well about the historic roots of our party and revolution and the immortal revolutionary feats of President Kim Il Sung in order to firmly preserve and successfully carry forward them. Under the energetic leadership of Marshal Kim Jong Un, the education in the revolutionary traditions is being intensified across the country. It is the steadfast faith of Kim Jong Un to carry forward to the end the revolutionary cause of Juche and Songun that started in Mt. Paektu, holding the revolutionary traditions of Mt. Paektu as the eternal treasure of our revolution. To intensify the education in the revolutionary traditions is an essential requirement for glorifying the tradition of devotedly defending the leader generation after generation and a firm guarantee for achieving a decisive victory in the stand-off with the U.S. The proud tradition of Songun Korea's sure victories is given steady continuity. |
