Present there on invitation were officials of the government, institutions and organizations of Russia including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Economy and Development, Ministry of Development of Far East, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Culture, Ministry of Education and Science, Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Russian Railways Company, Russian Association for Friendship and Cultural Cooperation with the DPRK, Institute of the Far East of the Russian Academy of Sciences, TASS and Interfax.

The DPRK ambassador to Russia and his embassy officials were present.

The participants laid a floral basket and bunches of flowers before the full-length painting depicting President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il and paid tribute to them.

Then, they looked round photos on the theme of "Uplifted banner of Songun".

Speeches were made at the reception.

There took place a reception at the branch of the consulate general of the DPRK in Khabarovsk on the same day.
