KCTU Calls for Launching General Strike

| Pyongyang, March 25 (KCNA) -- The south Korean Confederation of Trade Unions (KCTU) held a rally in Sokrisan, North Chungchong Province on March 20 at which it said it would launch a general strike to end the unpopular rule of the puppet forces, according to the south Korean paper Nodong and Segye. The chairman of the KCTU in a speech denounced the Park Geun Hye regime for endangering the vital rights of the workers in league with big businesses. He noted that the KCTU would stage actions with people from all walks of life. Other speakers said they would wage dynamic actions in provinces and cities and at worksites to force Park Geun Hye to step down and build a world where the workers and other people are well-off. |
