He directed big efforts to strengthening the army and national defence industry after putting forward it as an important affair to bolster up the defence capabilities.

The DPRK has the invincible revolutionary armed forces perfect politically and ideologically and in military technique with powerful offensive and defensive means. This would be unthinkable without him who devoted great efforts to bolstering up the defence capabilities all his life.

The political, military and economic foundation provided by him serves as a motive power encouraging the DPRK to make a long drive.

His exploits will shine long with prosperous socialist Korea.
