Pyongyang, March 27 (KCNA) -- Bereaved families of the ferry Sewol disaster of south Korea have launched actions in Canada on March 20 in demand of the probe of the truth about the disaster. At the round-table talks held in Toronto on March 21 they deplored that the south Koreans have no right. The south Korean authorities removed important data to probe the truth about the disaster, they said. They had an interview with media of Canada in which they met with producers of a documentary dealing with the disaster and exposed the crimes of the puppet forces obstructing the probe of the truth. They also staged a demonstration. Meanwhile, Koreans in Canada held a rally on March 21 at which they supported the activities of the bereaved families. On March 20, Ri Yun Gyong, an overseas Korean professor, at the round-table talks at Toronto University accused the south Korean authorities of having downscaled the role for public security and reaction to disaster. |
