Involved in the drill are more than 7 600 troops of the U.S. imperialist aggression forces and south Korean marines and seamen, over 30 warships including landing ships, transport crafts, Aegis destroyers and submarines, more than 80 aircrafts and over 40 landing armored vehicles.

This saber-rattling which will last till April 1 will include such offensive rehearsal as naval maneuver, naval infiltration and coastal reconnaissance drills for clearing in advance obstacles to landing, large-scale naval bombardment and air strike drills for wiping out forces in the targeted areas.

They are mulling conducting drills for landing, naval search and rescue and emergency airborne supply in the area of Phohang of North Kyongsang Province on March 30 in the wake of landing rehearsal, the phase of "decisive action".

The landing drill which they openly claimed is aimed to "occupy Pyongyang" brings to light the aggressive nature of the joint military drills which they are describing as "annual and defensive ones."
