Speakers at the rally recalled that the KCTU released a written demand raised to the "government" for guaranteeing the right of the workers to exist and declared the April 24 general strike.

They accused the Park Geun Hye regime of working hard to turn work sites into those of part timers under an unreasonable pretext and stamp out the labor movement.

Members of civic and social organizations in Pusan declared at the rally that they would join in the KCTU's general strike to put an end to the anti-worker, unpopular and undemocratic policy of the Park regime.

At the end of the rally the participants staged a demonstration.
