At the press conference, the speakers recalled the action they had staged in the U.S. demanding a halt to the anti-DPRK leaflet scattering operation.

During the action they clearly disclosed that the operation is a dangerous one which disturbs peace on the Korean peninsula and inflicts misfortune and pain upon the inhabitants in the area along the Military Demarcation Line, they said.

They urged the U.S. to stop the operation provoking the north and THAAD deployment and the joint military drills against the north, which are all aimed at meeting its own interest.

They said they would carry on the struggle for the peace on the Korean peninsula.
