The general manager of the Mit Tarmo Publishing House of Myanmar said that Kim Il Sung was a peerlessly elder statesman and father of the people as he made the Korean people most independent and creative people by founding the Juche idea in his early years and made an immortal contribution to the cause of global independence.

Convinced that the behests of Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il would be surely carried out under the guidance of respected HE Kim Jong Un, I extend firm support and solidarity to the Korean people in their just struggle.

Tin Tun, director of the Myanmar Medical Research Institute, recollected with deep respect the immortal exploits the President performed by dedicating himself to the prosperity of the country, happiness of the people and global independence.

He went on:

The President was a great leader and iron-willed commander as he liberated the country from the Japanese imperialists' colonial rule and led the cause of socialism of the Korean people and cause of independence of the progressive peoples of the world to victory.

The Korean people have worked astonishing miracles in building an economic power and improving the people's living standard and bolstered up the defence capabilities of the country in every way under the leadership of Kim Jong Un.

I express support and solidarity with the Korean people in their struggle for building a thriving nation and achieving national reunification.
