The Youth Organization of the Popular Liberation Movement of Angola said this in a statement issued on March 26 on the occasion of the birth anniversary of the President.

The statement said:

The President led the anti-Japanese armed struggle to liberate the country after embarking upon the road of the revolution in his early years and turned the DPRK into a socialist power independent in politics, self-supporting in economy and self-reliant in national defence.

He founded the Juche idea and applied it to revolutionary practice, making sure that the popular masses creditably played their role as masters in hewing out their own destiny, and set an example in Korea.

He extended full support to the cause of the Angolan people for national liberation and the building of a new society and powerfully encouraged the world progressives in their struggle for independence.
