In this regard KCNA met Kim Hyon, manager of the Pyongyang Cosmetics Factory.

Kim said:

Supreme leader Kim Jong Un visited my factory in early February this year and stressed the need for the factory to operate the room for disseminating sci-tech knowledge in an effective way so as to help employees enrich their technical knowledge and develop skills.

The room for disseminating sci-tech knowledge in the factory plays a big role in improving the quality of cosmetics.

In the room, employees of the factory can get tele-education given by Kim Chaek University of Technology.

A local area network was also built up in the factory with a database created.

Kim Yung Gi, master of the Songrim Harbor, said the room for disseminating sci-tech knowledge is in normal operation at the harbor to help employees acquire latest technologies.

Such rooms have also been built at the Pyongyang Thermal-power Complex, Hamhung Woolen Mill, Pyongyang Maternity Hospital and other units.
